had my birthday dinner at cosy bay. the name sounds kinda cheesy but its a really beautiful and interesting place. both scenery and atmosphere, open-air, windy and all. its this 3 or 4 storey high circular tower. when you get there, you sit on a barrel and order your stuff before making your way up the tower to get seated. i wanted to take a pict of that fat barrel but i thought id look stupid so yeah no picts of that. actually most people were there to drink and hang out but well, they sell food too.

we sat on the highest level

had to put my phone over the railings to get this shot

the spiral flight of stairs up

the bridge nearby

the tower from across the river - its the one in the middle with bright lights

thanks for bringing me there, it was a wonderful place to celebrate.

I havent been updating my entries, which means ive started studying. haha, okay, so let me recall what happened during the past few days.

sunday:

oh i received a new order for my earings. well, sundays are quite routined. nothing new happened this time except that i went to my grandmas place to celebrate the lantern/mooncake festival or whatever its called. oh my, i ate like a pig. the chicken wing, bought from dont know where, was the best ive ever eaten. i forgot how many i ate. then there was that pepper crab. my plate was just full of empty shells.

i love my new green bag

monday:

i skipped sch today cos the losers planned to celebrate jia's birthday. it was like post-prelim madness. anyw, we watch the longest yard, haha super funny. following that, we told jia we had to go home so only alice chow and aileen accompanied her to eat supper at the youth park.

the rest of us went to buy a cake and then we had to run and hide here and there because we couldnt let jia spot us. in the middle orchard road okay. super embarrassing. we were like illegal immigrant standing in front of the red bus at the youth park while waiting for jia to finish her mee pok. jia! you took like forever to eat that bowl of mee pok, haha. okay so exciting, when she was walking over, we lit the sparkles that were positioned to form her name. and it was tough cos the sparkles went out fast so we had to be quick. yeah but in the end everything turned out fine.

my mum called to scold me for staying out so late so i ended up taking a cab home. didnt even have time to stay and play the remaining sparkles with the losers. oh well, nonetheless, i had fun today. happy belated belated birthday jia!

we did this for jia

tuesday:

it was back to sch, super tired. kept sleeping during breaks. geog lect was cancelled but as usual our class didnt know. so hafi and zong ended up playing with the mike, imitating mr square. pre-promos stress. ahah.

"shut up", "get out of class"

today:

happy birthday zek!

had math test on maclaurins and integration today and i only found out abt it the lesson before. i realised miss lai announced it while i sneaked out to buy milo nuggets during tutorial yest. okay, tmr lessons are all the way till 5.15pm. im gonna skip sch.

today has been a long day for me, with lessons ending at 5.15pm. kill me. anyway, we had a softball match again with A41 this time. obviously we beat them too. i love my class, or at least most of it. okay, so its subway for dinner again. yes, its been 3 days in a row. shared the foot long turkey breast with estee. following that, i went for cell at lionel's place. jessica decided that its gonna be a bonding session this time. so after watching the dragon show, we started playing monopoly. okay actually they started playig monopoly cos im like here blogging. haha.

oh and i changed the wall paper again. so hot hafi, you like this picture of urs? haha, by the way, patience is something i so do not have. yes and so im looking into my wallet and i realised that i have only $3 plus left for the whole week. man, if i dont even have money to feed my enormous appetite, how am i suppose to save up for my nano. so yarh, id like to remind everybody that i accept all forms for donation to the 'buy pam a nano fund'. apple vouchers, if they even have it in the first place, would be a wonderful form of donation too =)

okay, so the only im looking forward to tonight is LOST and the OC. oh then theres the cleo mag that im gonna buy later and shopping session with the losers after their paper tmr. all the best guys.

guess what, i had subway for dinner today, while waiting for my mum to come pick me up. i went shopping ard harbourfront shopping centre and i found a pair of polka dotted shoes from vnc. so exciting. i promised myself ill go back and buy it soon. oh do u know that subway pays only $4.00 per hour. i was like, hello, one hour of my labour is so not worth just $4.00 only so i decided i shall not work there.

as you can see, i cant seem to be able to start studying for promos but greg says that im an intelligent girl and that i am a child of god. so i shall hold on to that and somehow like get into the momentum of studying, i hope. anyway, thanks greg.

subway, subway, subway. i love subway. i even tried presauding my mum to franchise a branch at J8. Cause, J8 has all kinds of fast food restaurants except my favourite subway. all their branches are like either clumped up together in one area or located in super ulu places. the management seriously needs to grow some brains. J8 is like the perfect place to open their next branch. the crowd is good and there are so many schs located nearby, like more than 5, not to mention, its super near my house. how perfect. im looking out for their suggestion boxes so i can tell them where their next branch should be located at.

anyways, i ate my dinner at harbourfront's subway with my classmate. shared the footlong subway melt with zong hao while estee darling and wei yun shared another footlong subway melt too. its like the high-light of the day, if u havent tried their subway melt, you are missing out big time.

hafi and i

had a softball match with A42 during pe today. most of us were not on form but we still kinda won because the score stood at 11-11 with them having batted 3 rounds while we only went twice. so yah, i consider that a win. haha. oh and as usual, i entertained everyone with my clumsy manners. yeah, that needs no further elaboration.

the most exciting part of my day came when xavier took out his ipod nano after pe. oh my, my heart stopped beating for that moment. slim, small, pretty and classy. for the rest of the day, i thought of nothing but ways to get one for myself. so here goes : Plan A - go to the big boss straight but yeah it will probably fail. knowing my dad he'll give me 101 reasons why i shouldnt buy it now. Plan B - trade in my creative muvo to my dad in return for cash.

Okay anyway, im too lazy to type out Plan C to E. so yarh, i concluded that i shall be independent and save up for it myself. But the thing is, when i really really want something i have to have it like now now now, delays will only kill me. horrible. so yarh, im appealing for donations to the 'buy pam a nano fund'. all donations will be greatly appreciated. oh my back-ups: lionel im still waiting for u to sell your ipod and hp to buy me that nano. a child of god cannot lie okay =). greg, ure suppose to gather resources to get it for me for my birthday. And you are no exception, malvin foo.

=)

its has been a rather eventful weekend. went to the night market to buy supper. ended up eating like 1 packet of candy floss, 5 tu tu cakes or whatever its called, 1 cup of corn, 1 bar of ice cream, 2 tea eggs and 4 otahs 1 hour after i ate my dinner. greg says that ill grow to become a fat old lady in future.. i think im quite on track.

anyways, i made a new pair of glasses to wear over my contacts. cos my degree increased and i just changed my contacts this yr so id rather make a pair of glasses to put on during lectures. saves money too. got dragged by my mum to go watch some drums ensemble from china at the open plaza at j8. obviously, i sneaked off half way to go shopping :) only cos it got boring after a while. didnt know my mum had a thing for the arts.

my saturdays are always so packed. dragged myself off the bed to attend cell at 8.30 in the morning. rushed off for 3 hrs of econs tuition after that. tuition was quite okay, i got to know my only friend better. when i got home, i decided i was too tired to go for youth service and besides my parents had plans to go out. in the end i went no where cos i fell asleep on the sofa and was awoken by a call to remind me to get my glasses. thank goodness the lady called if not i would have been late for maths tuition. so i collected my glasses, bought oreos and went for tuition til 10pm. yes, thats how my saturdays have been. exhausting, exhausting.

my nerd glasses

did curve sketching at tuition today. thats dania's horrigible handwriting below.

my sister generously gave me her new pencil case which i thought was so cute

narcissism

and yet again

oh, the highlight of the weekend. my fav milk candy
