we were on the phone last night and malvin mentioned that its his mothers birthday today. i was rather surprised because although time seems to be passing by so quickly, it still didnt seem like it was a yr ago when we last celebrated her birthday. so, i double checked with him and got the same reply.

well naturally, when i saw his mother today, i wished her a happy birthday. the look on their faces just told me i should hv kept my mouth shut. its that kinda moment where you just wished everyone would freeze to give you time to crawl into a hole and disappear.

it turned out that, it was actually his grandmothers birthday. that army boy was half asleep when he was talking to me! it may seem like a small silly blunder i made, but trust me, if you were in my shoes youd want to dig a hole too.

this just adds on to my list of embarrassing moments. its enough for a whole issue of seventeens trauma rama - so embarrassing section. oh well, hopefully ill be able to look back one day and just have a good laugh at myself.
